Crypto trading platform CrossTower has partnered with Ripple to add NFTs minted on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) to its marketplace.

Ripple Partners up with Major Web3 Company to Bring XRPL NFTs to CrossTower’s Marketplace

The partnership will significantly lower the costs and entry barrier for creators who want to mint their projects on the blockchain, CrossTower said in a statement. CrossTower has already attracted projects like Antara and David Bowie World on its marketplace and has a pipeline of inaugural projects on XRPL, the crypto trading platform said.

The marketplace enables developers to quickly onboard NFT projects by giving them access to infrastructure including wallets, payments, and liquidity support, CrossTower said. Fans can purchase NFTs through credit cards and receive the assets through integrated wallets on the XRP Ledger, according to the press release.

Ripple, on the other hand, recently reported on the successful testing of a new standard for creating complex NFT objects on the XRP Ledger, XLS-20. According to the company, the update will not only help in creating multi-purpose applications, but it also allows us to do it quickly, cheaply and easily. Previously, Ripple created a $250 million fund to launch its NFT program and sponsor XRPL NFT developers.
