Whales made several large transfers between exchanges, while XRP has been making 12% weekly growth

According to Whale Alert, over the past 24 hours, over 190 million XRP has been transferred between wallets belonging to various leading crypto exchanges in the US and South Korea. Meanwhile, XRP has gained 12.12% over the past seven days.

190.4 million XRP converted by owners between exchanges

Whale Alert has discovered that a whopping 190.4 million XRP has been transferred by the owners of wallets across various crypto exchanges.

The largest total amount transferred in this small XRP chain of transactions was 76,000,000 XRP transferred by leading Korean platform Bithumb. The smaller coin makes up 66.4 million coins, and the rest carry 25,000,000 and 23,075,900 XRP. In addition to Bithumb, among the participants in the transfer are FTX, Bittrex, BitGo, and more. The total value of the XRP transactions described above is $160,911,969.

Elsewhere, Ripple countered a request submitted by its rival, the SEC, to the court, where the regulator asked for an extension of time. Ripple does not want to delay the court’s decision because it does not believe XRP is unregistered security.

The agency asked for more time by March 21 to notify the court whether it would make any further discoveries. In particular, the SEC’s request was opposed by CEO Brad Garlinghouse and Ripple co-founder Christopher Larsen.

Recently, Garlinghouse stated in an interview that he is optimistic about the upcoming outcome of the lawsuit against Ripple. The incident occurred after the court rejected the SEC’s offer of fair notice protection for Ripple.
