Vitalik Buterin reveals his interest in Block.one’s social media platform Voice
Ethereum, EOS (and Tron) have long been considered rivals in the dApp and smart contract markets. The founders of these platforms will never collaborate on development projects on rival networks, but no! Recently, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin revealed that he is requesting beta access to Block.one’s upcoming social media platform on the EOS network.
Vitalik Buterin is interested in the new project on the EOS network
Buterin expressed no aloof attitude to Block.one’s ambitious social media project, which was created by Ethereum’s biggest rival, EOS. In a recent tweet, he frankly expressed an interest in ‘Voice.’ This project is under Block.one’s the management works on the EOS network and is expected to launch a beta version on February 14, 2020.
Buterin claims he is looking forward to seeing the project’s innovations after joining its beta testing ranks.

Will Voice make a new feat in the crypto industry?
The Voice Project was first introduced to the public in early July 2019, announced by software creator EOS.one. The project was created to address the main pain points of today’s social media.
Voice CEO Brendan Blumer said:
“These platforms mean using their users. Just look at the business model. Our content. Our data. Our attention. These are all incredibly precious.”
Before Buterin’s response, Blumer quickly joined the conversation and expressed that Buterin’s involvement was precious to his company. He added that it was challenging to censor content, but they would be able to get rid of government-controlled censorship immediately.
Moderation is complex and requires dynamic and customisable solutions, which were aiming to enable over time. That said, censorship driven by corporate interests as opposed to legal requirements, are easily rectifiable at the onset

Besides, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey began gathering a group to create a decentralized standard for social media in early December 2019. Buterin also once called this idea exciting and pleasant.
Twitter is funding a small independent team of up to five open source architects, engineers, and designers to develop an open and decentralized standard for social media. The goal is for Twitter to ultimately be a client of this standard. ?

The conversation about the importance of decentralized social media platforms was dominated on Twitter after the massive online video YouTube started deleting content from a range of crypto-related accounts.
