Vitalik Buterin Apologizes for BITCOIN (HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu) After Calling It a Scam

Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum (ETH), the largest altcoin by market value, has apologized for this meme token after making some negative statements about it in the past.

Buterin had shared his thoughts on a meme token called BITCOIN (HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu) and caused the price of the related altcoin to rise.

Previously, Buterin had claimed in a blog post that the meme token named BITCOIN (HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu) was a scam that was trying to imitate the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin.

He also criticized it for being a copycat of Bitcoin.

However, today, Buterin officially apologized for his previous statements and confirmed that he had misunderstood it.

After editing his previous blog post, he shared that: “At the time this post was not edited, I called this token a scam that was trying to imitate Bitcoin.

But it is not a scam, it is a memecoin.

I apologize for the confusion.”. After his blog post was edited, BITCOIN (HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu) increased by 50%.

Although, BITCOIN (HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu) is still attracting attention from the crypto community, but at the time of writing, its price had dropped by 2.1% and was at $0.081681.
