VeChain announced a blockchain-based food safety solution ToolChain
VeChain launches its market ready, blockchain-enabled food safety solution based on its one-stop data Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform VeChain ToolChain™, according to the announcement on August 7.

The solution includes traceability templates which track things like origin traceability, cross-border traceability, full-process traceability, and more. They have high hopes that the tool will be useful for many sub-sectors and products, such as fresh food, dairy, alcohol and wine, and imported food.
