Uniswap Mobile Wallet Enables Direct Access to DeFi Services on iOS

Uniswap, the most popular decentralized exchange on the Ethereum blockchain, has launched a mobile wallet that enables users to directly access decentralized finance (DeFi) services. With this move, Uniswap has made it easier for users to access DeFi services from their mobile devices.

The Uniswap mobile wallet is now available for download on the iOS App Store. This mobile wallet allows users to seamlessly swap on the Ethereum mainnet, as well as other Ethereum scaling solutions such as Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism. Users can also discover top tokens by market cap, price charts, and volume, and favorite tokens and wallet addresses to stay up to date on trends and activity.

One of the key features of the Uniswap mobile wallet is its ability to connect to any app on the Ethereum mainnet or layer-two scaling solutions with WalletConnect. This allows users to access a wide range of DeFi services from within the Uniswap mobile wallet.

In addition to DeFi services, the Uniswap mobile wallet also enables users to see NFT details such as floor price, owner, and collection description. Users can also choose their security method with manual or encrypted iCloud backups and get notified of any onchain activity with push notifications.

Uniswap has also made it easy for users to buy crypto using fiat with fees as low as 2.55%, which is lower than the 5% charged by other popular wallets.

Uniswap is one of the most trusted teams in DeFi, and as such, the company has gone to great lengths to ensure that its mobile wallet is secure. After a thorough security audit from Trail of Bits, the mobile wallet was open-sourced so that users can review the code themselves.

According to Uniswap, creating a wallet should be as easy as creating an email address, and with the Uniswap mobile wallet, it is. The company aims to make self-custody wallets simple, safe, and easy to use.

The Uniswap mobile wallet is currently available in several countries around the world, with plans to launch in more countries as soon as Apple approves the app. Early access TestFlight users can head to the iOS App Store to download the app, and all the information and wallets loaded to the TestFlight version will automatically migrate.
