Moreover, this partnership also contributes to increasing blockchain adoption rates and makes possible mainstream adoption. Also, Ubisoft could help UOS to expand the experiment. On the other hand, Ubisoft previously partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex as well as EOS Rio and EOS NY.

Not the first time

This is not the first foray of Ubisoft in the world of blockchain gaming. On the other hand, Ubisoft previously partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex as well as EOS Rio and EOS NY.

Last year, Ubisoft joined the Blockchain Game Alliance. This is a coalition of gaming and blockchain companies working to bring blockchain technology to the gaming industry. Each entity in the alliance can share knowledge and collaborate on research to help layout the foundation for blockchain gaming. Also, the Blockchain Game Alliance may give Ultra some indication as to how the two organizations came to form the new partnership.

This news comes a little over a month after Ultra announced that Bitfinex, EOS Rio, and EOS New York had become the first groups to sign on as block producers.
