NFTs are starting to kind of cycle back and even when the market is down. This could be an opportunity for NFTs. Let’s check out some NFT news first before getting to know 2 new NFT projects.
Meta reportedly plans to integrate NFTs on Facebook and Instagram profiles. Meta is reportedly diving into NFTs by integrating a feature that will let users show off their NFTs on their Facebook and Instagram profiles. This can bring a whole new wave of awareness to NFTs because if celebrities and massive influencers start actually buying these NFTs and putting them as their profile picture, this is going to bring even more adoption and awareness to NFTs.
The NFT marketplace autograph co-founded by Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has announced that it closed a 170 million dollar funding round. NFTs are going to make waves in 2022 and beyond.
SUPERGUCCI
The first potential new NFT project to mention is SUPERGUCCI. A groundbreaking collaboration between Gucci and Superplastic, SUPERGUCCI is a 3-part series of super-limited NFTs co-created by Gucci’s head of design Alessandro Michele and synthetic artists Janky & Guggimon. Each NFT incorporates classic Gucci patterns and comes with an exclusive 8-inch tall white ceramic SUPERGUCCI SuperJanky sculpture, hand-crafted by Gucci’s own ceramicists in Italy.
Gucci’s website has posted this amazing-looking NFT and it’s already received over 41,000 views. They said: “Transcending the confines of time and space, the first 10 super Gucci NFTs created by Superplastic and the House represent a visionary path of experimentation into the metaverse.”
Each NFT incorporates classic Gucci patterns and comes with an exclusive eight-inch tall white ceramic super Gucci jank sculpture handcrafted by Gucci’s own ceramicist in Italy. There’s only going to be 250 made again you’ll be able to buy on February 1st.
We do not know the price just quite yet and there’s still so much that’s going to be coming with this project. This is going to be really really cool because Gucci is one of the biggest brands in the world.
Crocs
The second one is Crocs. Crocs filed for a trademark application at USPO with plans to launch its own digital assets. Crocs have not released an official statement yet. However, the application filing suggests that the company pursue digital wearables and NFT Collections.
