According to information from the New York-founded cryptocurrency club More, Joseph Maldonado-Passage – more commonly known as the star of Netflix’s “Tiger King”, Joe Exotic has set to launch his own the non-fungible tokens (NFTs token) drop from prison, with some external assistance.

Reportedly, cryptocurrency club More will enter the popular NFT space with an auction on behalf of Joe Exotic.

The funny thing is that Exotic is launching his first NFT collection from his cell in Fort Worth, Texas. He is currently serving a 22-year sentence for numerous wildlife violations and plotting to kill his rival Carole Baskin.

Starting Friday, the public can bid in the “Official Tiger King NFT” auction, which will be held on the NFT marketplace Mintable. Auction winners will receive authentic paper physical items and 3D digital models of each tangible collectible.

Exotic’s pistol, a fringed leather jacket, and a bikini worn by adult film actress Rachel Starr on the “Tiger King” show are all set to be posted to the auction winner. Some NFT’s will also feature audio recordings of Exotic from prison.

Exotic said:

“Being able to auction off my collectibles makes me feel connected with the outside world, especially without my cats by my side.”

After that, the Maldonado-Passage stated:

“It’s great to have a voice via blockchain technology and I’m honored to be the first to kick off MORE’s celebrity NFTs. Whether you love me or hate me for what you think I’ve done, there’s no doubt that everyone wants a piece of The Tiger King!”

It looks like this initiative will increasingly help drive the mainstream adoption of blockchain technology, especially as the NFT industry provides people with access to authentic unique goods that they would otherwise not be able to access.
