The ongoing lawsuit between Craig Wright vs Ira Kleiman continues to take twists and turns

Again the story of the long-running lawsuit between Craig Wright and Ira Kleiman. In a new development, the plaintiffs in the case believe that several key figures should be called for depositions, including former nChain CEO, Jimmy Nguyen.

Craig Wright again faces many legal difficulties

Craig Wright still faces more legal challenges around the testimony and documents he provides to the court. Wright was forced by the court to provide the private keys to Satoshi’s Bitcoin, which he confirmed will be delivered on January 1 through a bonded courier. When January 1 arrived, he offered a list of thousands of alternate addresses. Wright then continued to confuse the court by asserting that the bonded courier was also a lawyer and kept confidential under the attorney/client’s privileges.

He also worked to claim company privileges around the more than a dozen old companies he was involved in and thousands of court-ordered documents from those companies.

At this point, the court suspected that the documents provided by the bonded courier might be forged. The court also planned four more deposition cases for Wright’s associates, including his wife, Ramona Watts. However, so far, no one has been able to locate the former nChain CEO Jimmy Nguyen, a US citizen, to serve him with a summons for his deposition.

The court suspected nChain had received the property in the case as indicated by the documents provided by Wright. The case has been at the discovery stage for over 20 months and has been hampered by Wrights’ deception and lack of cooperation.

It now seems that NChain’s role, in this case, identified as approximately 1.1 million BTC, is growing as court documents also reveal that plaintiffs will file a request for a Fake text. This is an attempt to procuring documents from nChain because the plaintiffs believe that the documents provided by Wright show that nChain can control the lawsuit and thus may acquire assets in the trial.

nChain, the former company headed by Jimmy Nguyen, was founded by Wright. The company is a significant part of Wright’s work in the cryptocurrency space, having published 95 patent applications filed under nChain Holdings Ltd.

With that in mind, the claimant’s claim that nChain may have acquired or acquired problematic property, in this case, will not be far off. However, it will be contrary to what Wright claims that he does not have access to the funds of the Tulip Trust Fund. Nguyen, as the company’s chief operating officer for some time, is being served to clarify this possibility but so far has not been located. That doesn’t necessarily mean he is fleeing or avoiding the courts, as Nguyen still appears on stage in London on Febr 20 at a CoinGeek Conference.

Has this lawsuit come to an end?

In this Wright vs. Kleiman lawsuit, we may wonder how much more the Judge will be patient with Craig Wright. Wright has repeatedly contradicted his statements, made false statements, and provided false or fake documents. He repeatedly abused legal procedures and tried to deceive the Judge, his lawyer, and Ira Kleiman’s legal team.

The latest twist of the event only highlights the difficulties lawyers, judges, and judges had when determining the truth surrounding Wright’s role as an early Bitcoin participant. Both Wright and Kleiman’s legal teams are allowed to deposit ten times during this discovery. Both straight sides will be depleted of deposits after this final testimony.

It is not clear whether this additional testimony will give them the facts they need to move forward with the trial. Both sides had almost two years to present aspects of the story. We will have to wait and see if Wright has any more unofficial stalling tactics before the proceedings are over.

As of now, Wright has succumbed to Judge Bruce Reinhart based on the contradictions in his story, fake documents, and many other doubts. Of course, looking at what is at stake for Wright – more than half a million BTC is currently worth billions of dollars – it is understandable why he would be motivated not to be tied with the keys to the vault.
