The legendary rocker KISS frontman is willing to accept Bitcoin for his Sin City property

According to heavy metal news website Blabbermouth, KISS frontman Gene Simmons has announced that he will be accepting Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Polkadot (DOT), and several other cryptocurrencies for his $13.5 mansion in Las Vegas.

Simmons has been a proponent of cryptocurrency for a long time. Last February, he revealed that he had over $1 million worth of BTC. He also began tweeting about other popular cryptocurrencies, allegations that the musician was being paid to promote them.

“It is the future of money, and it just makes sense to offer interested parties the option of using cryptocurrency to purchase the estate” the rock legend is convinced that cryptocurrencies are the future of money.

The Simmons estate is part of the luxury community of Ascaya, located in the southeastern part of the city.

The opulent mansion boasts eight giant bathrooms, a home theater, a 1,200-gallon aquarium, and an 11-car garage. Future home buyers won’t have to worry about landscaping as Simmons has also created a private park by planting 130 trees on one side of the mansion.

The KISS leader bought the property in Sin City last May for $10.8 million, but he decided to sell it in October after it turned out that his family wasn’t interested in 115-degree weather.

Last September, Simmons sold his 16,000-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion for $16 million, well below his asking price of $22 million. The rock star isn’t the only musician who has tried to garner crypto popularity. French DJ David Guetta has also accepted the two largest cryptocurrencies for his Miami apartment.
