Thai SEC announced risk of digital assets, BTC, ETH, XRP, ADA, BCH, BNB, LTC, USDT risk 20% and XMax, Aurora risk 50%

As we all know, digital assets are high-risk investment assets. Most recently, the SEC of Thailand announced a list of cryptocurrencies with this risk. The SEC said risk is called the risk rate used in calculating the value of digital assets entrepreneurs.

From the announcement, we have divided the risk groups into 5 groups (haircut-rate) together, with Group 1 being the lowest risk group at 20%, group 2 at 30%, group 3 at 50% the 4th group is at 75% and the 5th group is at 100%.

According to the announcement, the top 10 coin-ranked coins are ranked as 20% risky, which includes coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Tether, Litecoin, Stellar, Cardano, OmiseGo, Status, Chainlink, and other cryptocurrencies.

Coins that are 30% risky include IOST, Metaverse ETP, INO COIN, Insight Chain, Veritaseum, Stratis, Seele, Ren, Quant, HyperCash, Energi, EDUCare, Crypterium, Bytom, which are considered risky coins in Group 2.

And the 50% risky coins in Group 3 were XMax, Aurora. The 4th group at 75% was not shown. The last group, 100% risk, no one. Others not specified in the above announcement.

Interestingly, the Bitcoin SV coin of the person claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto, Craig Wright, is at a risk of only 20%. The commission has used the calculation criteria in the attached documents. The calculation uses historical VaR of the past one year data and most importantly, the risk is reviewed every one year as well.
