Tencent Cloud and Chainlink Labs Forge Strategic Partnership to Boost Web3 Development

Tencent Cloud, a renowned cloud services provider, has entered into a strategic partnership with Chainlink Labs, a leading developer of the Chainlink Network. This collaboration aims to provide enhanced support to Web3 builders by offering secure and reliable infrastructure solutions.

Tencent Cloud has long been recognized as a provider of stable and secure cloud services and tools for developers. By leveraging their expertise, Tencent Cloud offers Web3 developers access to an array of solutions tailored to different segments within the Web3 space. These include Tencent Cloud Media Services for decentralized social applications, Real Time Cloud Rendering for blockchain-based games, and a unified edge service platform that integrates crucial components like Web Application Firewall (WAF), Anti-DDoS, and CDN for digital asset trading platforms.

Chainlink Labs, on the other hand, is widely known for its industry-standard oracle network, Chainlink. By bridging the gap between smart contracts and real-world data sources, Chainlink empowers developers to create feature-rich applications that are secure and robust. The partnership with Tencent Cloud will enable developers to utilize Chainlink’s services alongside Tencent Cloud’s secure infrastructure solutions, resulting in the creation of more advanced and reliable applications.

As part of the collaboration, projects within the Chainlink BUILD program will gain access to several benefits. These include default vouchers worth $10,000 for Tencent Cloud services, with the opportunity to receive additional vouchers valued up to $100,000. Moreover, Chainlink BUILD projects will enjoy prioritized product and service listings on the Tencent Cloud International Marketplace. They will also receive early invitations to join Tencent Cloud Web3 networking events, webinars, and other relevant industry gatherings.

Poshu Yeung, Senior Vice President at Tencent Cloud International, emphasized the significance of secure and scalable infrastructure for the development of the Web3 ecosystem. Yeung expressed satisfaction with the collaboration, noting that by supporting developers with decentralized services and tooling, they can accelerate the adoption of Web3 technology.

Johann Eid, VP of Go-To-Market at Chainlink Labs, expressed enthusiasm about the strategic partnership with Tencent Cloud. Eid emphasized that access to highly secure and decentralized infrastructure will empower developers to create cutting-edge applications that drive the entire Web3 space forward.

Chainlink Labs is widely recognized as a leading provider of secure and reliable open-source blockchain oracle solutions. Their platform enhances smart contracts by connecting them to a wide range of off-chain data sources and computations, bridging the gap between the blockchain and real-world information. With Chainlink as the standard decentralized oracle framework, smart contracts across various blockchains can leverage its capabilities.

Chainlink itself has emerged as the industry-standard Web3 services platform. Its technology has facilitated trillions of dollars in transaction volume across major sectors such as DeFi, on-chain finance, gaming, and NFTs. By providing seamless access to real-world data and off-chain computation, Chainlink empowers developers to build feature-rich Web3 applications across different blockchains. It also serves as a universal gateway for global enterprises to access all blockchains.

Tencent Cloud, as one of the world’s leading cloud companies, is committed to driving digital transformation and resolving real-world issues through innovative solutions. Leveraging advanced technologies like cloud computing, Big Data analytics, AI, IoT, and network security, Tencent Cloud offers stable and secure cloud products and services to businesses globally. In the realm of Web3, Tencent Cloud aims to accelerate the adoption of decentralized technology by providing simple, secure tools, and cloud infrastructure.
