Solala (SOL) surpasses Ethereum (ETH) in monthly active addresses
According to Nansen, six leading blockchains had more than one million active addresses in March. In this case, “addresses” refer to those who have completed a transaction. BNB Chain, Solana (wallets), Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Fantom are the six blockchains mentioned.
With 13.3 million active addresses, the BNB chain led the pack. In March, active wallets on the Solana network expanded faster than on other blockchains, including Ethereum.

Solana had 5.8 million active wallets, while Ethereum had 5.2 million active addresses, ranking third after Solana. Polygon, Arbitrum, and Fantom blockchains had 3.9 million, 2.2 million, and 1 million active addresses, respectively.
Nansen identifies the entities contributing to the increased active addresses observed for the blockchains discussed.
Binance and PancakeSwap are the most active users on the BNB Chain, but Web3 social projects like Space ID Protocol are also prospering. On Solana, Raydium Protocol, Stepn, and Orca continue to top the pack regarding user count.
Meanwhile, during the last 30 days on Ethereum, zksync, and StarkWare have grown by 1,322% and 805%, respectively, owing to airdrop farmers crossing to other chains.
