Several large transactions made by Ripple and several major exchanges, carrying nearly 287 million XRP
Over the past 20 hours, Ripple and some of the biggest crypto exchanges, including Coinbase and Binance, have moved a staggering 286.5 million XRP.

Several major crypto exchanges, Coinbase, Binance, Huobi, Bitstamp, Bittrex, and Upbit, as well as Ripple, transferred the equivalent of $310,783,408 to XRP. It took the participants 11 transactions to move such a massive amount of XRP.
They transferred 45,737,504 XRP between its internal wallets and sent 20,000,000 XRP to the Bitstamp exchange, which is its ODL platform in Luxembourg, in two transactions. A total of 55.7 million XRP were shifted by Ripple. Bitstamp then moved 18 million XRP to Binance. The largest global digital crypto trader also received 23,999,900 XRP in the RippleFoundation1 wallet belonging to the blockchain giant.
The largest single amount of crypto in one transaction was made by Coinbase, which moved the coin internally: 61,999,980 XRP, or the equivalent of $70,899,304. The Upbit exchange sent 28.3 million XRP to Bittrex.

As AZCoin News reported, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong tweeted that the SEC regulatory agency is threatening to sue the exchange over its lending service. As a reminder, in January of this year, Coinbase was the first crypto exchange to suspend XRP trading after the SEC initiated a legal case against the blockchain giant in late December.
Yesterday, the XRP price fell and penetrated the psychological $1 level, marking a minimum of $0.95. If the massive sales continue, then the price of XRP could fall back below the $1 per coin support. XRP is trading at $1.09 at press time.
