RippleNet connects banks, payment providers, digital asset exchanges and corporations

A leading Curacao bank, Vidanova, announced the partnership and use of RippleNet on its official website, where it said, “Vidanova Bank provides access to RippleNet, the decentralized global network of banks and payment providers…With this technology, you can message, clear, and settle financial transactions in real-time.”

In addition, Vidanova, a financial services provider in Curacao, an island in the Caribbean Sea and a country in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, also uses SWIFT along with Ripple for international payments.

“RippleNet connects banks, payment providers, digital asset exchanges, and corporations…With the most advanced blockchain technology for global payments, financial institutions are able to execute transfers to a growing number of institutions”, they stated.

As mentioned earlier, Q1 2022 was a record quarter for Ripple’s On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) remittance platform as transaction volume increased by almost 8x year-on-year. In total, RippleNet has seen an annual payment volume run rate of $15 billion, marking unparalleled growth as ODL use cases continue to expand.
