Ripple CTO David Schwartz has signaled that he is not willing to leave the company

David Schwartz, Ripple’s chief technical officer, recently tweeted that he is unwilling to quit the firm.

David Schwartz Explains Why He’s Not Leaving Ripple

Schwartz says he’d “want” to start a fresh project from scratch. The executive expresses a desire to work on a variety of new projects. He does not, however, wish to make a token attempt. Schwartz admitted that he no longer has the drive to embark on a new large endeavor. Ripple’s “trillion-dollar guy,” the inventor of the XRP Ledger, says he doesn’t want to work 50 hours per week for the next two years. “I just don’t feel up to it anymore,” he explained.

Schwarz reports an extremely busy work schedule while working on the XRPL with Stefan Thomas, Arthur Britto, and Chris Larsen. However, he does not believe he will be able to command such a large project again. When asked about his position at Ripple, Schwartz says he enjoys that it allows him to work with cutting-edge technology and create undetermined things.

On October 21, experienced cryptographer Nik Bougalis announced his departure from Ripple. Bougalis had been working on the XRP ledger for over a decade. He called his experience as “wonderful,” and he expressed gratitude to Schwartz, Britto, and his colleagues. Schwartz is “sorry” that he will no longer be able to work with Bougalis, but he is delighted that his former colleague is now going on.
