Chris Larsen made this known via his official Twitter handle a couple of hours ago. A picture of him donating blood to help the antibody transfer for the treatment of others was captioned in the tweet. Larsen had not publicly shared the fact that he had been diagnosed with COVID-19. The majority of the crypto-community only discovered the truth when he posted his tweet, expanded by a picture of himself wearing a facemask giving a thumbs-up gesture.

Many cryptocurrency enthusiasts, especially XRP community members, such as Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, CTO at Ripple David Schwartz, Tron founder Justin Sun, and others, have shown their enthusiasm. Their happiness in full recovery since he shared the good news on Twitter.

Brad Garlinghouse said:

Novel coronavirus started causing havoc in Wuhan China, where it was first discovered. Many countries of the world were caught unprepared, which contributed to the expansion of the highly contagious and pathogenic virus. The global pandemic has also initiated a financial crisis, especially in the countries that are grossly affected, such as the United States, China, Italy, Spain, and others. And it has also contributed to the increase in the number of unemployed across the world.

At press time, the total number of confirmed cases across the world has risen to 1,016,128, while 211,615 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered. The total number of deaths now stands at 53,069.

The United States now has the highest number of cases, while Italy has the highest number of deaths. No one knows how long the pandemic would last, howbeit, the governments of the world are trying their best to curtail the spread, to get economy back on track.

David_Smith from the same trading platform offered a similar forecast:

“XRP got rejected by the midline of an ascending channel and the lower boundary of the formation can be retested.”

Trader ‘ProjectSyndicate’ is also going bearish on XRP:

“This is XRPUSD 4 hour chart we got in the spotlight right now. The marginal upside from here capped by 19.5cents. 15.5 is a low volume pocket, so re-test is very likely.”
