The P2E project STEPN has made a huge announcement that is sure to excite Genesis sneaker holders. In a recent tweet, the project stated that it would be conducting a massive airdrop for those holding specific colors of the sneakers. According to the tweet, the airdrop will take place for gray shoes at 4,000 GMT, green shoes at 8000 GMT, blue shoes at 16,000 GMT, and purple shoes at 32,000 GMT. The announcement was made during the STEPN February Town Hall, which covered a range of other topics, including IRL events, partnerships, and upcoming releases. The project also announced the launch of Panda Skins on March 16, 2023, in celebration of National Panda Day. Additionally, the project is working on Badges and Achievements and a browser-based marketplace. The next update will include Marathon mode, and a new STEPN roadmap will be revealed in Q2.
The project also revealed that it is partnering with one of India’s largest CEXs, CoinSwitch, and that GMT will be listed on the exchange. There will be a Twitter Spaces event hosted with CoinSwitch in 24 hours, and the event will be open to the public. Additionally, there will be an event starting on February 20, 2023, at 00:00 UTC, which is a partnership with the MOOAR Season 1 winner, HypeSaints.
The Town Hall also discussed upcoming events, such as NFT Paris for MOOAR on February 24, 2023, and NFT Paris for STEPN on February 25, 2023. The project also mentioned an upcoming Valentine’s Event, an International Women’s Day Twitter Space, and MOOAR Season 2, which will have new membership-as-a-benefit models.
