The Open Campus (EDU) token sale on Binance Launchpad is now open for subscription for three hours. Interested users can check their eligibility and commit their BNB tokens for the sale based on their past five-day average BNB holdings. The BNB rate for the EDU token sale has been set at 0.00015281 BNB or 0.05 USD, using a BNB price of 327.2 USD.
During the subscription period, users can commit their BNB tokens between 2023-04-28 06:00 (UTC) and 2023-04-28 09:00 (UTC) and must sign the EDU Token Purchase Agreement prior to committing their BNB. The maximum amount of BNB that each user can commit has been calculated based on their past five-day average BNB balance.
However, it’s important to note that only BNB in user spot wallets can be used for the commitment. If the BNB is in other accounts, such as Launchpool or BNB Vault, users will need to redeem them to their spot wallet before committing. Once committed, the BNB tokens will be locked and users will not be able to access any other functions such as transfers, withdrawals, or trading until final token distribution.
After the subscription period ends, the EDU token allocation calculation will begin and will take a total of one hour. The final EDU token allocation results will be revealed at 2023-04-28 10:00 (UTC), at which point the respective BNB will be deducted from already-locked BNB amounts within 60 minutes. Once deducted, EDU and remaining BNB tokens will both be transferred to the user’s spot wallet.
It’s important to note that there is a hard cap of 15,000 USD (300,000 EDU or 45.843 BNB) that can be allocated per user. Users also need to complete their account verification and be from an eligible jurisdiction to participate in this token sale. Users from certain countries or regions, including Belarus, Cuba, Iran, and the United States of America and its territories, will not be able to participate in token sales on the Binance Launchpad platform.
The Open Campus (EDU) smart contract is BEP-20. Once the subscription is complete, Binance will list Open Campus (EDU) in the innovation zone and open trading for EDU/BTC, EDU/USDT, EDU/TUSD, and EDU/BNB trading pairs at 2023-04-28 12:00 (UTC).
