OKX and Manchester City’s Rúben Dias launch virtual training experience on Metaverse

OKX has announced the launch of its first immersive metaverse fan experience, ‘Train Like Dias’. The fan experience is part of the OKX Collective, a virtual metaverse environment that enables fans to participate in Web3 and gain access to special content from Manchester City players. OKX ambassador and Manchester City player Rúben Dias will provide coaching and performance tips for fans to follow some of his favourite training techniques.

Through the OKX Collective metaverse, Rúben Dias believes that they can bring fan interactions to the next level by giving fans across the globe a glimpse into how he prepares for matchday and maybe how they can improve their own game. OKX’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, Haider Rafique, said that the possibilities that Web3 can offer are vast and only limited by our own imaginations.

In addition to exclusive training content, fans who visit the OKX Collective will also enjoy music and NFT-based digital experiences designed around each player’s playing style and personal interests. Within the metaverse, fans can also enter competitions to win exciting prizes, including passes to team trainings, match tickets and much more.

The OKX Collective metaverse is accessible via a personalized avatar created through the OKX website. OKX is the official training kit partner for Manchester City Football Club for the 2022/23 season.
