The exchange renaming OKEx to OKX

It is known that the exchange has announced the rebranding from OKEx to OKX. Accordingly, the apps will also be rebranded to reflect the new name, logo, and brand. Some app store updates are subject to approvals and will be changed in the coming days.

Sharing about the reason for choosing OKX, the exchange said:

“We began as an exchange, and the “Ex” in our name represents the exchange we built. We want to venture with you into the possibilities that exist ahead of us. Therefore we have decided to drop the E and dial up the X to reflect our ambitions better. We hope this change will help the journey each of you takes through our platform, whether trading, staking, or hopping between different chains.”

So if you accidentally go to Twitter or the floor’s information pages on social networks, look for a new brand name and don’t worry about being scammed by the floor. All user account information will still be backed up normally.

OKX, which lists over 250 digital assets and has long held the #1 rank for cryptocurrency futures trading volumes, recently became the second largest cryptocurrency spot trading platform in the world. In 2021, total trading volume on the platform, including spot and derivatives instruments, grew over 700%, while the number of trades executed on the platform increased over 480%. Staking, savings and DeFi offerings via OKX Earn saw over $5.1 billion deposited by users, and paid out over $314 million in passive income this past year.
