Number of large ETH transfers sharply increased this week after major recent Ethereum upgrade
IntoTheBlock tweeted this week that the on-chain data startup detected a steady increase in the volume of big ETH transfers.
The greatest Ethereum transfer on April 9 was 708,000 ETH, whereas the largest transaction yesterday, April 13, was 2.2 million ETH.

This transaction increase was observed following the latest Shapella upgrade on Ethereum, which includes the Shanghai upgrade. Stakeholders can now withdraw their ETH from the Beacon Chain deposit contract.
According to data released by Chinese crypto writer Colin Wu, about 240,000 Ethereum were taken from the staking contract following the upgrade on April 13.

It received around 100,000 ETH and currently has 1.01 million ETH on hold for withdrawal. The price of Ethereum soared to $2,000 due to the upgrade, and it is now trading in the $2,100 range.
