nd4.eth Wallet Address Continues to Incinerate a Series of High-Value NFTs
In a bewildering turn of events, the cryptocurrency world has been left scratching its head over the recent actions of the enigmatic crypto wallet address “nd4.eth.” This wallet, which has gained notoriety for its seemingly purposeful destruction of valuable assets, has once again made headlines by burning three high-value NFTs from Yuga Labs, with an approximate total worth of $90,000 USD. The incident has sparked intrigue and speculation within the crypto community, prompting questions about the motives behind such an unusual series of actions.
On August 9th, the ENS-verified address “nd4.eth” was identified as the source behind the burning of three notable NFTs: 1 Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT, 1 Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) NFT, and 1 Bored Ape Kennel Club (BAKC) NFT. These unique digital assets were sent to the burn address 0xdEAD, effectively erasing them from circulation and removing their presence from the market. The collective value of these NFTs is estimated to be around $88,300 USD.

This unprecedented move, described as “throwing money out the window,” has left the crypto community puzzled and intrigued. This isn’t the first time “nd4.eth” has engaged in such perplexing actions. Just three days prior, the same address shocked observers by sending 2,500 ETH (equivalent to approximately $4.5 million USD) to the burn address.
The situation becomes even more baffling when considering the previous activities of “nd4.eth.” Over the span of two weeks, the wallet has sent a total of five tokens to the burn address, including 10,000 Apecoin (APE), 5,000 Wrapped Staked Coin (WSC), 600 Genius (GNS) tokens, 34,900 Golem (GMX) tokens, and 4,078 ETH.
Today at 1pm UTC, nd4.eth sent 1 BAYC, 1 MAYC and 1 BAKC to the burn address (worth $88.3K).
This is the same account that, 2 weeks ago, burned 2.5K ETH – or $4.63M.
These tokens are all completely unrecoverable.

The question on everyone’s minds is, why? What motivates an individual to deliberately destroy such substantial sums of cryptocurrency and valuable NFTs? The crypto world is abuzz with theories and speculations. Some have even likened this bizarre sequence of events to an elaborate form of performance art.
“nd4.eth” is not just an ordinary participant in the crypto realm. This trader has been involved in transactions exceeding $25 million USD on Uniswap and over $20 million USD on Binance. In December 2022, the wallet received around 5,500 ETH from “enditall.eth.” However, unlike the recent destruction, those ETH were not burned but rather transferred to Arbitrum and used to purchase GMX tokens.
Adding to the intrigue, “nd4.eth” has even burned its own ENS domain, “nd4.eth,” further cementing the notion of a deliberate attempt to erase the wallet’s existence.
While theories abound, the true motivations behind nd4.eth’s extreme actions remain shrouded in mystery. Speculation has circulated that personal matters, such as being deceived by a significant other, might have triggered these events. However, no concrete evidence has emerged to substantiate these claims.
As the crypto community grapples with this puzzling phenomenon, experts and enthusiasts alike are left to wonder whether “nd4.eth” is an avant-garde artist of the crypto world or if there are deeper, hidden motives at play. Only time will reveal the true story behind this enigmatic figure and their bewildering actions.
