Mysten Labs partners with Chinese Giant Tencent Cloud to Enhance Sui Network in Gaming, Payments, and Cloud Services

Mysten Labs, the developer behind the Sui Network, has announced a partnership with Tencent Cloud, the world’s largest gaming company based in China. The partnership aims to strengthen the Sui Network in gaming, payment, and cloud services.

Tencent is one of the world’s most valuable companies, providing digital entertainment services globally. This collaboration will bring Sui Network closer to the lucrative Chinese market, which is becoming more open towards cryptocurrencies.

As reported by Interlock, China has recently shown more openness to the cryptocurrency market. In late 2022 and early 2023, the country has been focusing on the development of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).

In line with this trend, several crypto projects have been making attempts to reach out to Chinese companies. On January 26th, the blockchain layer 1 Conflux announced a partnership with Little Book, a Chinese social commerce network also known as the “Chinese Instagram.”

In conclusion, the partnership between Mysten Labs and Tencent Cloud could have a significant impact on the growth of Sui Network and open up new opportunities in the Chinese market.
