Major whale purchased a large LUNA lump, while the coin has got on the list of the top ten purchased assets
According to WhaleStats, Terra (LUNA) is gaining popularity with the top 5,000 whales and Shiba Inu (SHIB) and FTT.
$6.6 Million in LUNA grabbed by top ETH whale
LUNA has become one of the most bought cryptocurrencies. Besides, an anonymous whale bought this coin worth nearly $6.6 million.
According to WhaleStats, the 5,000 largest Ethereum investors have actively bought Terra (LUNA) in the past 24 hours. The seventh-largest digital coin has made the ten most frequently purchased tokens list.
The crypto tracker’s website shows number 6, along with yearn.finance (YFI) and several popular US dollar-backed stablecoins – TUSD, USDT, USDC, and BUSD.
However, LUNA is not in the top ten list of cryptocurrencies, unlike SHIB, FTX Token (FTT), USDT, etc. The top ETH whales are holding $1,442,428,050 SHIB (16.1% of their portfolio) and $1,470,747,535 FTT – 16.65% of their crypto holdings.
WhaleStats has also spread the word about an anonymous ETH whale, ranked 7th by this data platform that purchased a staggering $6,608,800 worth of LUNA – 80,000 tokens.
However, this whale’s wallet website does not show any LUNA assets in writing. This whale is mainly FTX Token, Ethereum, RON, USDT, and USDC.
FTT is the largest coin by US dollar position to date. The amount of FTT held by this wallet totals $1,364,196,990 – 41.94% of the portfolio.

US-based crypto trading giant FTX has added digital stablecoin Terra – UST support. It was announced on March 6. Currently, UST is the largest decentralized stablecoin by market capitalization. In early March, Terra decided to increase the supply of UST to $450 million in fiat.
Currently, the price of Terra has increased to $82.72. Earlier today, the coin struggled to hold the $80 price mark. Terra users have been quite active lately as they increased the number of LUNAs locked in Terra-based decentralized applications over the past month. The amount of TVL (total value locked) includes $22 billion.
