Justin Sun’s lunch with Warren Buffett has finally officially taken place
On Thursday morning, Justin Sun posted a picture of himself with Buffett, along with the four guests he invited. These include the founder of Litecoin Foundation Charlie Lee, CFO of Huobi Chris Lee, Head of Binance Charity Foundation Helen Hai, and CEO of eToro Yoni Assia.
This photo was posted on both Twitter and LinkedIn along with the announcement that his big meeting with the investment legend was completed on January 23 at Buffett’s private national club near Omaha’s home in Omaha, Neb.
Justin Sun finally met with Warren Buffett on January 23, 2019
They seem to have discussed charitable activities, stock trends, and Bitcoin – a topic Buffett famously despised – during the meal.
In June 2019, Sun won an auction on eBay for Warren Buffett’s annual “Power Lunch” for a record of $ 4.56 million. Unlike most of Buffett’s previous charitable lunch guests who prefer to remain anonymous and hold private meetings, Sun revealed his identity in a social media campaign shortly after winning auction and make an unusual request to transfer the lunch location from Buffett’s favorite New York steakhouse to San Francisco – where the cryptocurrency company of Sun is located.
However, after all the noise, Sun skipped lunch at the end of July due to what he claimed was a state of emergency kidney stones. However, few believe that the explanation was because he was found at a party in San Francisco just three days after the announcement.
Justin Sun even donated Bitcoin to Warren Buffett
Buffett has long been skeptical of cryptocurrencies. He once called Bitcoin “rat poison” and other rude comments, but Sun said he hopes the meal will close the gap between institutional and traditional investors and the cryptocurrency industry.
(1/12) Most delicious meal ever! Thks @WarrenBuffett for taking us to Happy Hollow Club! $4.56 MIL for a $515.05 dinner was money well spent! The insights I received are priceless. I enjoyed every bite with my friends @SatoshiLite @ChrisLEE_Crypto @HelenHaiyu @yoniassia! pic.twitter.com/tSQirSZY2e

And perhaps he has endeavored to fulfill this desire through donation Buffett Bitcoin, two Samsung Galaxy Fold phones with 1,930,830 tokens of Tron.
(2/12) @WarrenBuffett received his first #Bitcoin! This lucky #Bitcoin is safely stored in his #Samsung Galaxy Fold. Since I gifted him this #Bitcoin, $BTC has increased 16%! Hope it continues to moon! Check out his address: https://t.co/uyhT7gVQCo

This number of TRX tokens is consistent with Buffett’s birthday of August 30, 1930. Besides, he also gave Buffet a bronze horse because they were both born in the Year of the Horse, 60 years apart, and a traditional Chinese paper cutting of a mouse to celebrate the Year of the Mouse.
(5/12)Mr. Buffett’s #Samsung Folds are embedded w/100 $BTT,100 $WIN & $USDT-TRC20. I gave him a Bronze Horse since we are both born in Year of the Horse, 1930/1990! I also gave him a traditional Chinese paper cutting of mouse in celebration of the Year of the Mouse 2020! pic.twitter.com/zRnrVAPaYX
