Investment institution Motley Fool expects Bitcoin to reach $ 500,000

Motley Fool declared:

“We expect to keep this Bitcoin investment for many years.”

Through a blog post and Twitter channel, the company announced that it will not buy in the form of an ETF, but instead will buy Bitcoin directly. According to SimilarWeb data, with more than 87 million website visits per month, Motley Fool is currently ranked 5th in terms of investment. The company pointed out 3 core reasons behind its investment in Bitcoin:

  • Bitcoin is a better store of value than gold.
  • Bitcoin is the hedge against inflation.
  • The potential to be a popular tradable asset is quite large.

The company will invest in Bitcoin through a 10x list, which is a list of 40 assets the company hopes to bring in more than 1,000% of returns over the next 15 years. The company has proposed cryptocurrency as a core asset to hold for its members and give them time to buy Bitcoin before Motley Fool makes its official purchase.

Since this is a long-term investment, the company believes that there is no need to worry too much about short-term fluctuations:

“While it is very likely that Bitcoin will fluctuate in the short term, we think it has the potential to be 10 times its present value in the long term. We intend to hold this Bitcoin investment for many years.”

If the company’s prediction is correct, we will soon see Bitcoin costing $ 500,000 over the next 15 years. Motley Fool also knows that they have notable achievements with their investments.

Up to now, Motley Fool has given 10 out of 40 names on its 10x list. They are cloud computing company Appian Corporation, Swiss biotechnology company CRISPR Therapeutics, cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, e-commerce platform Etsy, genetic testing platform Fulgent, insurance company Lemondate. , social media platform Pinterest, mobile game platform Skillz,, and video media company Zoom. It is worth noting that many of these stocks are already in the company’s basic portfolio.
