Huobi Launches DMBT, a Digital Identity Credential for Dominica Metaverse Digital Citizens

Huobi has announced the launch of the Dominica Metaverse Bound Token (DMBT) on its official Twitter page in collaboration with Tron (TRX) and DMC Labs. The DMBT is a digital identity credential that is non-transferable, unique, and revocable, used to prove that users are Dominica Metaverse Digital Citizens (DMDC).

To obtain DMBT issuance qualification, users must complete Huobi’s KYC L3 level identity verification process. The DMBT is a blockchain-based soulbound token launched under the authorization of the Dominica government. It is aimed at advancing the globalization of Web3 and the metaverse, which is a vital aspect of Huobi’s new global development strategy.

To apply for the DMBT, users must first verify their identity by applying for a Dominica Digital Identity (DDID) and completing level 3 verification. After this, they need to connect their wallet by downloading the TronLink App and creating a wallet on the Tron network. Finally, they can mint their DMBT by paying a minting fee of 1 USDT or HT/TRX equivalent on their Huobi App.

It’s worth noting that fraudulent behavior, including but not limited to money laundering, account manipulation, and self-trading, will result in disqualification of participants claiming DMBT. Huobi reserves the right to freeze the cheating accounts, confiscate any gains from the fraudulent behaviors, and impose other penalties as necessary.

In summary, the launch of the DMBT is a significant step towards promoting and expanding the scope of metaverse infrastructure projects. Huobi hopes that this new initiative will serve as a gateway into the Web3 world while leading the integration and development of the metaverse and digital economy.
