GPT-4 Announcement Causes AGIX Token to Skyrocket Nearly 50%
The AGIX token, an AI-focused cryptocurrency project, has surged almost 50% in the past 24 hours following the announcement of the latest version of the artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT, GPT-4, which was released on March 14th.
It is still unclear whether the price surge is directly related to the update or if it’s simply coincidental, but it is evident that the cryptocurrency market is continuing to grow as Bitcoin has also seen significant growth in recent weeks.
GPT-4 is an upgrade to the previous version, GPT-3.5, and boasts a range of new processing capabilities, including the ability to convert audio, image, and video inputs to text. GPT-4 is also capable of handling more nuanced instructions and has scored in the 90th percentile in both high school and law school tests.
Coinbase director Conor Grogan also shared his experience with GPT-4, saying he inserted a live Ethereum smart contract into the chatbot and it immediately pointed out several security vulnerabilities that could be exploited. The contract was eventually hacked in 2018 via the vulnerabilities that GPT-4 pointed out.
I dumped a live Ethereum contract into GPT-4.
In an instant, it highlighted a number of security vulnerabilities and pointed out surface areas where the contract could be exploited. It then verified a specific way I could exploit the contract pic.twitter.com/its5puakUW
