Ripple Named Among Best Medium Workplaces by Fortune Magazine
As of now, Ripple owns 575 employees around the world. Despite facing a lot of legal trouble when entangled in a lawsuit with the SEC over the classification of XRP as a security or not, Ripple still recorded many significant sales achievements in the quarters. Although this year’s ranking is one place lower than in 2021, the company still tries to continue to expand its operations worldwide.
In response to this news, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse thanked his employees and added that they are the ones who have made the company one of the best. “Always nice to get a little third-party validation”, he stated.
Topping the list is Big Ass Fans, a Kentucky-based company that makes fans, lights, and controls. In second place is Jobot, a Newport Beach, California-based company that specializes in human resources and job recruitment.
Elsewhere, Ripple was also among the top philanthropists in the San Francisco Bay Area at the end of July. Last year, the company’s cash contribution to Bay Area charities topped $54 million. They have made the top five together with defense giant Lockheed Martin, and technology conglomerate corporation Cisco.
