First pretrial conference in the SEC-Ripple case has been set for February 22, 2021
Legal representatives of Ripple and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), will be present at the first pretrial conference on the SEC-initiated legal case against Ripple and 2 leaders at 10 am, on Feb. 22, 202, to be held telephonically.

The conference will be convened by the Southern District Court in New York City. Ripple and SEC have also been directed to submit a joint letter by February 15, containing: “1) a brief description of the case, including the factual and legal bases for the claim(s) and defense(s), (2) any contemplated motions and (3) the prospect for settlement.”
Since news of the SEC charges broke, the price of XRP has fallen more than 66% as some exchanges have announced they will halt trading for the token, including Coinbase, OKCoin, Bittrex, Crypto.com, 21Shares, OSL, Beaxy, CrossTower, and Bitstamp.
