Fired officer shares some nasty details of inner workings of top-notch DEX SushiSwap (SUSHI)

According to a unique community-driven blog covering the largest scams, Rekt News, an investigation into the DeFi protocol SushiSwap has revealed major truths. The story begins with the stepping down of 0xMaki, SushiSwap’s co-founder, in mid-September 2021. After the resignation of Chef Nomi, 0xMaki was the core developer of SushiSwap’s architecture. And then the question is, who forced 0xMaki out?

Scandal at SushiSwap

The investigation is based on leaks shared by anonymous developer AG. Accordingly, the account claims that 0xMaki was forced out of SushiSwap by SushiSwap CTO Joseph Delong and other key developers such as Omakase, Keno, and Rachel. They have not been able to fire 0xMaki since he has a three-year contract: that is why he accepted the “advisory role.”

He decided to leave SushiSwap before the risk of six other developers resigning. This, in turn, raises questions about the implementation of the Trident update. After that, the rest of SushiSwap’s BOD is said to have spent thousands of dollars SUSHI on large private dinners with shady partners. They are even said to have used the money raised for MISO’s IDOs for day trading on personal accounts.

Shortly after AG tweeted about the situation, she was fired and her Google access terminated.

The Rekt authors have reached out to Delong for more information, but he has neither acknowledged nor addressed those accusations. “These accusations and narratives are from a disgruntled employee that was offboarded for continued toxicity and cyberbullying. (…) The attempt to propagate this narrative demonstrates off-boarding was the correct course of action and can only wish AG / sushijokr the best in her professional career”, however, Delong still denied the accuser.

He also promised to roll out the much-anticipated Trident upgrade later this year.
