Elon Musk: You can now buy a Tesla with Bitcoin
Elon Musk has announced that Tesla cars can now be purchased using Bitcoin, marking a new milestone for the cryptocurrency’s adoption.
Tesla is using only internal & open source software & operates Bitcoin nodes directly.
Bitcoin paid to Tesla will be retained as Bitcoin, not converted to fiat currency.

The whole fleet of the company’s electric cars (Model S, Model Y, Model 3, and Model X) can now be purchased with the help of BTC. Tesla will be retained as Bitcoin, not convert to fiat currency through payment gateways as other companies do, which means the company accepts the price fluctuation of bitcoin.
Tesla will soon be accepting the world’s largest cryptocurrency as a form of payment, said Musk. Accordingly, Tesla has also curated a special FAQ page for those who may want to peruse themselves of this option.
