Although only 11 years old, Bitcoin has left a mark with a lot of famous and influential people. Elon Musk, one of the most recognized entrepreneurs in the world, is one of them. Seemingly wanting to imitate Donald Trump, Elon Musk tweeted six short words and focused all criticism on Bitcoin. It’s still unclear what his purpose is, but this action has angered the crypto community.
Just now, Elon Musk tweeted that Bitcoin is not his safe word
Elon Musk is the co-founder of PayPal, one of the largest payment companies in the world. He is also the founder and CEO of SpaceX and CEO of Tesla. Each of his companies played a role in revolutionizing the field they occupied. Therefore, Elon Musk has always been admired and considered as one of the most influential people.
This is why when Elon Musk suddenly mentioned Bitcoin, but it was not a positive one, the cryptocurrency community was so excited. Elon Musk dropped a Bitcoin bomb on Twitter, saying that Bitcoin is not his safe word. After a few hours later, he changed his nickname to “Buff Mage”.

The safe word is a term used in BDSM sex. In the process of making love, once we have reached the limit, we will say this sentence, and the partner will stop. Such a sensitive phrase that Elon Musk used for Bitcoin – something that has nothing to do with sex. So, does Musk’s tweet be playful or deliberately provocative? Does he want to reveal his interest in BDSM or to suggest something about the security of Bitcoin?

The reason Elon Musk could not create the bullish effect that Trump did with his Tweet about Bitcoin is that this is not the first time he mentioned cryptocurrencies or Bitcoin.

At the beginning of last year, he did a podcast with an investment firm Ark and discussed the future of his companies, as well as thinking about cryptocurrencies.
Interestingly, Musk is quite clear about his view, that bypassing the control of currency and paper money will disappear. And cryptocurrencies are a better way to transfer values than a paper. However, he has expressed specific concerns regarding how Blockchain security is. According to Musk, the process is computationally energy-intensive.
He also made a very mysterious tweet when buying Bitcoin in October 2018, though he corrected it as a joke.
