Elon Musk claims that Dogecoin needs more merchant adoption and a tipping service for merchants

In response to a recent tweet posted by Billy Markus, founder of Dogecoin, Tesla CEO Elon Musk asserted that Dogecoin will certainly gain more utility if more businesses start to first accept it.

The richest person in the world also added that it would be “good” to use Dogecoin to introduce tips to creators. However, Musk argues that creating a bridge between Ethereum and Bitcoin is unnecessary despite the potential use cases in the web3.

The entrepreneur recently proposed to allow paid Twitter users to subscribe to Twitter Blue with the help of Dogecoin after acquiring a 9.2% stake in the company.

Musk is now trying to pull back on Twitter’s hostile takeover with a whopping $43 billion bid, which he launched earlier this month. However, his cryptic “continue” tweet has sparked speculation about whether the controversial businessman has decided to back down from his daring scheme.
