In a recent video, the widely-followed Elliot Wainman from EllioTrades shares the best bullish cryptocurrency to invest in May 2021 for great returns.

Cardano (ADA)

The first coin on his list is Cardano (ADA), the most popular Ethereum killer with an enormous dedicated community.

“As money has flowed from Bitcoin into Ethereum, the next logical choice is other layer-1 coins. We’ve seen the explosion of Binance Smart Chain, we’ve seen an explosion in Polygon. Though I don’t think that explosion is fully over, we’ve seen the Solana explosion, and now is high time for Cardano to do its thing”

According to Wainman, Cardano is also a green currency as they use a tremendous amount of less energy consumption in maintaining the Cardano blockchain. Interestingly, he notes that Cardano will have a huge influx of new dApps trying to become the blank of Cardano, whether that’s the oracle of Cardano, the decks of Cardano, the launchpad of Cardano.

Freeway Token (FWT)

The next altcoin on the list is Freeway Token (FWT), the native asset for the Aubit network.

“The point about Aubit is that what it allows you to do is buy synthetics, kind of like mirror protocol or linear protocol, but what it allows you to do is buy synthetics of real-world assets, whether that’s oil or Netflix, stock, or gold, whatever these real worlds or commodities, or these normal stocks that you might want to invest into, you can buy them”.

In addition, the analyst notes that what interesting is it also allows you to stake Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance, USD, and Eurosmith with Aubit Supercharge.

Yet, he notes that this coin may be much more volatile than other higher market cap coins so investors should be cautious in investing.

Oiler (OIL)

Oiler (OIL) is also on the trader’s radar.

“They’re doing something called on-chain options which allow for people to actually do futures for on-chain parameters”.

He further explains:

“I’m in exchange and I want to lock in my gas price for the coming year, knowing that gas has been really volatile. Well, I could actually lock that in with an option through Oiler and what’s really interesting about Oiler and OIL is that it doesn’t require an oracle. There’s no outside data needed because all of the data that it’s using for these options is natively on the blockchain in Ethereum”.

According to Wainman, this is an entirely new financial product of on-chain options.

Oiler Network provides insurance for heavy blockchain users such as exchanges, institutional clients, Layer 2 (L2) providers, miners, and DeFi power users.

“These derivatives could be the total hash rate of the network (the computing power currently supporting the Ethereum blockchain), the cost of gas fees, or the state of any other blockchain parameter”

Besides the above-mentioned altcoins, Wainman also sees the potential growth in Polkadot (DOT), Kusama (KSM), Cosmos (ATOM), yearn.finance (YFI) for the month of May of 2021.
