Celer Network Announces Successful Integration of Initial Bridging Support for Injective and Astar Networks
Celer Network has announced that it has integrated initial bridging support for Injective, one of the top chains in the Cosmos ecosystem. This integration will allow cross-chain bridging for assets such as INJ, ATOM, ASTR, and DOT between Injective, Astar, and the larger Cosmos and Polkadot ecosystems.
Injective, the fastest blockchain for financial applications, boasts of having the fastest block times within the Cosmos ecosystem. The recent integration of Pyth and institutions such as Galaxy has further cemented Injective’s status as a major Layer 1 blockchain in the industry. The bridging support will enable Injective’s financial applications to integrate with Astar’s ecosystem, allowing teams to create new decentralized solutions.

To grant Polkadot interoperability to Celer-bridged INJ and ATOM, the two tokens have been deployed with XC20 compatibility on Astar as xcINJ and xcATOM. These tokens can then be transferred from Astar to the broader Polkadot ecosystem. On the other hand, users will receive CW20 ASTR and DOT while bridging into Injective.
Celer is committed to supporting more bridging between EVM ecosystems, Polkadot, and Cosmos. In the future, they plan to include a sophisticated generic message passing integration to allow Injective ecosystem projects to tap into the vast amounts of liquidity and users from the broad range of chains that Celer supports.
The integration of Injective and Astar with Celer Network is a great step in making DeFi accessible to everyone and providing a seamless experience for cross-chain transactions. With this integration, users will be able to transfer assets seamlessly across the two ecosystems, all while enjoying Celer Network’s fast finality, low-costs, and extremely secure services.
About Injective, it is a lightning-fast interoperable layer one blockchain optimized for building premier Web3 finance applications. INJ powers Injective and its rapidly growing ecosystem, incubated by Binance and backed by prominent investors such as Jump Crypto, Pantera, and Mark Cuban.
About Astar, it is Japan’s most popular smart contract platform, supporting both EVM and WebAssembly (Wasm) environments and interoperability between them using a Cross-Virtual Machine. Astar’s Build2Earn system is designed to grow the network in an innovative way, while simultaneously rewarding participants and builders.
Celer Network, on the other hand, is a blockchain interoperability protocol that enables a one-click user experience accessing tokens, DeFi, GameFi, NFTs, governance, privacy solutions, and more across multiple chains.
