Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson: I know no mercy for such annoying criticism about Shelley Mainnet release
It seems like mean people have targeted Cardano while Testnet Friends & Family has not finished the second week. Some people are constantly commenting on bad things about their roadmap.
I’m with you….I’ve said since the launch of F&F that the Haskell testing could last through Q3. I’ve also said (and I was crushed for saying it), that smart contracts (Goguen) WOULD NOT launch this year, but most likely 2nd half of 2021. Goguen test-net will be long as well…

Cardano was constantly attacked with negative comments
While the Cardano team started releasing their video updates in the second week of the F&F Cardano Testnet, while this is good news, many people in the cryptocurrency community don’t seem to like it. They started trolling Cardano with dramatic predictions.
In it, many predict that Cardano smart contracts will not be released this year and even until Q1 2021. Moreover, some people believe that the development progress of Cardano won’t go beyond Haskell testing in 2020. And of course, if these things happen, ADA prices will probably fall sharply.
One of them commented that:
“Be prepared to see Ada price possibly touch the .02 price range as Haskell Shelley gets dragged out, and Goguen pushed into 2021. It will be interesting to see if IOHK’s contract gets extended another 3-5 years as these test-nets drag out.”
Before these statements, Charles Hoskinson was distraught and said he did not appreciate them. His only advice to attacks of this type is to reconsider paint chip consumption.
More tragic paint chip consumption. When will this epidemic end? https://t.co/6lcWwSCY67

In a recent exclusive interview with U.Today, Hoskinson acknowledged that managing expectations are the biggest challenge to Cardano’s process.
He said:
“We’re building a Ferrari, but there’s the market expectation of delivering a Toyota.”
However, he is sure that Cardano is the most scalable. That is, you can add everything to the Cardano network very quickly, and it will work fine.
