Brave browser prepares to deploy DEX platform and NFT wallet

In the announcement “Roadmap 2.0”, Brave set out the future development direction of the project, including many important milestones and initiatives to bring this browser closer to the DeFi world.

Specifically, Brave will build an entirely new Ethereum wallet platform, adding support for DeFi and NFT projects to its browser wallet. The wallet will also feature a redesigned UX / UI interface to increase the user experience on both the web and mobile and offer payment options by credit/debit card, bank account, and another wallet.

Not stopping there, the cryptocurrency browser also plans to develop a decentralized exchange (DEX) with the main center of the token Basic Attention Token (BAT). BAT users will receive many benefits when using this DEX exchange such as reduced transaction fees and preferential treatment for holding a BAT.

The new DEX exchange will also help Brave support more assets on other blockchains, increase usability and attract liquidity, creating more appeal in the eyes of users.

Brave’s Roadmap 2.0 also sets out plans to further expand the browser as well as a crypto wallet with first and second-layer solutions. Brave hopes this will help the BAT token be applied more in the strong aspects of the project such as e-commerce, VPN, search engine, and data sharing.

Besides, the Brave team said it will increase interaction with the user community, including organizing more AMA sessions, implementing the “BAT Ambassador” program, and supporting more languages.

Since its launch in October 2017, Brave has attracted 8 million daily users and 25 million monthly users, doubling the number of users in 2020. The browser aims to by the end of 2021 there will be 50 million monthly active users, and 17 million daily active users.

Brave’s BAT tokens are also being traded by 3.8 million users per month.
