Bitdeer Technologies Group Forges New Frontiers with Groundbreaking Bitdeer AI Cloud Launch in Asia
Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR) has just made waves by becoming a Preferred cloud service provider (CSP) in the NVIDIA Partner Network. The company is gearing up to unveil Bitdeer AI Cloud, an innovative cloud service set to be one of the first in the Asia region powered by NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD with DGX H100 systems.
In response to the escalating demand for robust cloud-based computing solutions driven by advancements in machine learning, AI, and large language models (LLMs), Bitdeer is making strategic moves. Recent data from IDC indicates a remarkable 32% annual growth in the public cloud platform-as-a-service (PaaS) market in 2022, showcasing the success of cloud partnerships.

Bitdeer’s GPU cloud service, leveraging NVIDIA DGX infrastructure, targets the rapidly growing markets of online gaming, livestreaming, and social media in Asia. This initiative builds on Bitdeer’s existing customer base in the region and its expertise in hash rate-sharing and cloud services.
Matt Linghui Kong, CEO of Bitdeer, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with NVIDIA, stating, “Becoming a Preferred member of the NVIDIA Partner Network validates our technological competence and market reach. We look forward to collaborating with NVIDIA to empower businesses in Asia to innovate, grow, and prosper.”
Tony Paikeday, senior director of the DGX platform at NVIDIA, emphasized the potential of generative AI, stating, “With its NVIDIA DGX infrastructure, Bitdeer can provide the AI supercomputing and software needed to build and deploy generative AI models and services.”
Strategic Roadmap Unveiled for Bitdeer’s GPU Cloud Capabilities
Bitdeer is strategically advancing its GPU cloud business through four key phases: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Application as a Service (AaaS).
- Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS): Bitdeer aims to provide high-performance GPU cloud infrastructure as the foundation for AI-driven initiatives, allowing organizations to leverage the full potential of GPUs for complex AI workloads.
- Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS): The company is actively developing a comprehensive GPU-as-a-Service platform to simplify the deployment and management of AI applications, offering flexibility and scalability to businesses.
- Software-as-a-Service (SaaS): Bitdeer aims to offer turnkey AI solutions tailored to various industries, democratizing AI by eliminating the complexities of in-house development and making it accessible to organizations of all sizes.
- Application-as-a-Service (AaaS): Bitdeer plans to craft API services between 2023 and 2032, fostering AI innovation by enabling businesses to easily integrate AI into existing workflows.
Bitdeer’s ultimate goal is to provide a high-performance foundation for executing complex AI workloads, making AI solutions accessible to a wide range of companies and industries. The imminent launch of the DGX SuperPOD-based high-performance cloud service platform in the first quarter of 2024 marks a significant step forward in Bitdeer’s commitment to advancing the capabilities of AI in Asia.
