Bitcoin price changed little, along with nearly all other coins in top 10
Today, almost all of the top 10 non-stablecoin cryptocurrencies by market capitalization changed very little, including Bitcoin and Ether. At the time of writing, BTC is changing hands at $16,839.

Bitcoin price, Ether little changed; Dogecoin falls
In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin fell 0.04% to $16,840, and Ether fell 0.19% to $1,219. Elon Musk, who has consistently hinted about the integration of the meme coin with Twitter, revealed that he would stand down as the leader of the social media platform, which caused Dogecoin to drop 2.14% in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.07597.
BNB dipped 0.6% to change hands at $243.16, while XRP lost 1.64% to trade at $0.3464. So, the largest losers were Dogecoin and XRP.
Despite finishing higher on Friday, U.S. stocks nonetheless recorded a weekly loss last week due to worries about an impending recession. The S&P 500 Index increased by 0.6%, the Nasdaq Composite Index by 0.2%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average by 0.5% at the close. The changes came following a solace rise on Wednesday when statistics revealed that the US consumer confidence index hit an eight-month high in December.
