Binance To Delist ANT, MULTI, VAI, XMR Due to Low Standards

Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, announced on Tuesday that it will delist four tokens from its platform due to their failure to meet its high level of standards. The tokens are Aragon (ANT), Multichain (MULTI), Vai (VAI), and Monero (XMR).

According to Binance, it periodically reviews each digital asset it lists to ensure that it continues to meet the criteria for listing, such as the commitment of the team, the quality of development, the trading volume and liquidity, the network stability and security, the level of public communication, the responsiveness to due diligence requests, the evidence of ethical conduct, and the contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem.

Based on its most recent reviews, Binance decided to delist and cease trading on all trading pairs for the four tokens at 2024-02-20 03:00 (UTC). Users will not be able to deposit or withdraw these tokens from Binance after 2024-02-21 03:00 (UTC) and 2024-05-20 03:00 (UTC), respectively. Binance may also convert the delisted tokens into stablecoins on behalf of users after 2024-05-21 03:00 (UTC), but this is not guaranteed.

The delisting will also affect other Binance products and services, such as Binance Simple Earn, Binance Auto-Invest, Binance Loans, Binance Margin, and Binance Portfolio Margin. Users are advised to redeem, remove, repay, close, or transfer their positions or plans involving the delisted tokens before the specified deadlines to avoid any potential losses or inconveniences.
