Binance has announced that they will soon be offering traders access to up to 50x leverage on the IOST token. In the announcement, the company stated that the IOST Token (IOST/USDT) perpetual contracts will begin trading on 21 Feb 2020 from 08:00 AM (UTC) and users will be able to select the leverage they want ranging from a minimum of 1x up to a maximum of 50x.

Binance has started to take a precautionary measure in order to ensure that there would no market manipulation post the launch of the Futures product. The platform would be implementing a “pricing limit of ±1% on the mark price” within the first 15 minutes of post-trading. This move may have been a result of the exchange being drawn to the drastic price rise of certain cryptos, after announcing support for them on its platform.
IOST Partner Suterusu to Bring More Privacy to Its Ecosystem
IOST a distributed ledger technology (DLT) project that claims to be focused on delivering the “Internet of Services,” as AZCoin News reported on February 14, IOST has joined forces with Suterusu, a project that claims to function as a more transparent Zcash (ZEC), with smart contract support. The partnership promises to bring Layer-2 privacy protection to the IOST blockchain through Suterusu’s ZK-ConSNARK zero-knowledge proof protocol.
As stated in its blog post, Suterusu will create a Layer-2 sidechain for the IOST blockchain using its ZK-ConSNARK zero-knowledge proof protocol. This way, IOST will be transformed into a DeFi platform that will support privacy transfer, privacy finance, privacy contracts and more.
IOST will also be able to facilitate decentralized payment wit controllable anonymity, and more.
It’s worth noting that the IOST project has been in the news of late for all excellent reasons, as a lot of exciting developments are taking place in the IOST ecosystem.
At press time, IOST (IOST) maintains the 78th spot on the CoinMarketCap top 100 cryptos table. The price of OST sits at $0.006307, with a market cap of $75.77 million.
