Binance CEO and founder, CZ, explained that the DDoS attacks have caused some delays and disrupted network access. He reassured that there was no need to worry, noting that the system was stable and the users’ money was safe.

Later, CZ tweeted that Binance has white hackers working in internal testing to maintain the platform’s security. In response to a tweet noting that global tech giants like Google and Facebook hire such hackers to find loopholes in their security systems, CZ wrote:

According to a CoinNess report, the DDoS attack was first flagged by Binance co-founder, Yi He, earlier in the day. Binance did not seem to make any official statement about this at press time. Binance still refuses to provide more information on the attacks.

News after DDoS attacks on major cryptocurrency exchanges, OKEx and Bitfinex. As reported, both exchanges experienced multiple DDoS attacks in February, causing several major system outages. OKEx’s chief executive, Jay Hao, later blamed unnamed rivals for the attack. The platform reported that DDoS attacks were adequately handled in a short period, and no foreign customers were affected. Perhaps the attacks on OKEx and Bitfinex in February may be relevant.
