“We have no intention of opening an office in Beijing. That’s just a rumor. That’s not completely true”, CZ claimed. He says that Binance will focus on research and development while helping “wherever they can”, adds:

“Our strategy is very simple. I think we want to follow the recommendations very closely and we want to promote the Blockchain technology research and development”.

Zheping Huang, a technology reporter focus on crypto, gaming & all things Chinese internet, has tweeted that CZ just wrapped up with us.  He denied Binance has a new BJ office, despite that CoinDesk reported otherwise.

On Oct. 31, it was reported that Binance had plans to open a new office in Beijing, the Chinese capital, after the first presence in China since 2017. This move appears immediately after President Xi Jinping’s announcement of support for blockchain innovation in the country. However, at that time, Binance didn’t confirm this information.
