Billionaire Mark Cuban reveals how much Dogecoin he owns at the moment

After denying not shilling Dogecoin, Mark Cuban, billionaire and formerly hash critic of cryptocurrencies, revealed that his DOGE holdings are not big.

Billionaire Mark Cuban reveals how much Dogecoin he holds

During a Twitter discussion about Dogecoin, Cuban revealed that the balance between his personal DOGE wallet and the Mavericks team is worth less than $15,000. Even so, one of the discussion participants pointed out that this is only a fraction of the billionaire’s total net worth of $4.4 billion held in crypto.

The centibillionaire and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, is another powerful supporter of DOGE, who also holds it. However, Musk has never revealed the size of his holdings.

Last year and before that, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks was a crypto hater, frequently criticizing Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies), saying that he would rather have bananas because they are edible and Bitcoin is not. He also echoed that on Anthony Pompliano’s Bitcoin podcast last year. However, Cuban may have changed his mind and now calls Bitcoin a store of value and DOGE the best crypto used as an actual currency.

Also, as reported by AZCoin News, Cuban participated in a discussion about Dogecoin. He later tweeted that he didn’t shill DOGE. What he does shill, according to him, is services and goods of the companies he owns and runs, and, according to him, the meme crypto DOGE has become a very popular means of payment among the majority of clients. 95% of them, the tweet says, choose Dogecoin to pay when buying goods or services from these companies, including merchandise of the Dallas Mavericks team. However, he believes that, unlike Bitcoin, DOGE is a currency and the people’s way to pay.
