Mark Cuban: If I had to start a side hustle now to make extra money, this is what I’d do

This billionaire investor has been a skeptic of Bitcoin for years. Now Cuban is teaching his kids how to make easy money, and it has nothing to do with cryptocurrency or Bitcoin.

By scripting, Cuban is referring to the process of coding voice commands to create so-called skills, which enable devices – like Amazon’s Echo or Echo Dot, which use artificial intelligence-enabled voice assistant Alexa, Google Home or Microsoft’s Cortana – to complete a task.Billionaire investor Mark Cuban teaching his children how to really make some easy money without BitcoinBillionaire investor Mark Cuban teaching his children how to really make some easy money without Bitcoin

Cuban told CNBC in an interview that learning how to script for virtual assistants like Amazon’s Alexa, Microsoft’s Cortana, or Google Home could net youngsters extra cash — even for those who aren’t too tech-savvy.

He stated:

“I told my kids [and] other kids, learn how to script, and just go get your neighbors and set up all of these Alexa tools and intelligently make $ 25, $ 30, $ 40 an hour.”

He said that those who have learned how to code these virtual assistants to complete tasks, could charge their neighbors up to $ 40 an hour, adding such skills were “really, really easy” despite everyone thinking they were “really, really hard.”

He stated:

“If I were 16 years old, I would learn Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Microsoft stuff, and learn how to create scripts,” he said. “Then go to my neighbors’ homes … and charge $ 30 an hour to set it up in their house. ”

At the conference, he also compared the future of AI to the rise of the internet.

He said at the conference:

“If you don’t know AI, I can do the equivalent of somebody in 1999 saying. I’m sure this internet thing will be OK, but I don’t give as —. If you want to be relevant in business, you have to, or you will be a dinosaur very quickly.”

Cuban has predicted that the world’s first trillionaire will be an AI entrepreneur.

He said at the SXSW Conference and Festivals in 2017:

“I am telling you. The world’s first trillionaires are going to come from somebody who masters AI and all its derivatives and applies it in ways we never thought of. ”

Billionaire investor revealed the amount of Bitcoin owned

Just over a month ago, billionaire investor Mark Cuban announced that he didn’t own any cryptocurrency. However, it no longer matters, as he recently discussed a podcast.

During an appearance this month on The Pomp Podcast with host Anthony Pompliano, he shared roughly how much Bitcoin that the team has netted to date.

“We’ve put it up for the Mavs. We did it originally four years ago, and no one bought anything,” said Cuban. “Now we can tally take Bitcoin — please, go buy everything in Bitcoin. I’m fine with that, right? I think we’ve brought in $ 130. That’s all the Bitcoin I own right now.”

He has been an outspoken critic of cryptocurrency, pointing to hurdles to onboarding and expanded understanding, as well as massive spending crypto without converting it to fiat currency. Cuban focused on those points again when asked by Pompliano what could change his mind on Bitcoin.

“It would have to be so easy to use communicated a no-brainer,” he replied. “It would have to be completely friction-free and understandable by everybody first, and then you could say dressed an alternative to gold as a store of value.”
