Bakkt Bitcoin Futures Trading Volume Hits Record High
Trading volume in physically delivered bitcoin futures listed on Intercontinental Exchange’s Bakkt platform surged to record highs on October 16.
In a tweet Arcane Research, a crypto research company said, “Over 400 BTC futures contracts were held to expiry in October, an increase of 14% from September. With another record-breaking month on Bakkt, the demand for bitcoin is increasing among institutional investors.”
In addition, Bitcoin futures trading volume is rising not only on Bakkt, but also on other exchanges such as Binance, Huobi, and OKEx.
As AZCoin News reported, Grayscale Investments, the world’s largest digital currency asset manager, said in its financial report for Q3 2020 has raised $1.05 billion for investment products during the third quarter of 2020, the largest inflow of funds from investors in a single quarter in Grayscale’s history.
