Avalanche and Tencent Cloud Partnership to Deliver High-Performance Infrastructure for Web3 Developers

Ava Labs, a company that provides high-performance solutions for Web3, has announced a strategic partnership with Tencent Cloud, a Chinese tech giant company. The partnership will support developers and projects across the Avalanche ecosystem, with both parties exploring Avalanche Subnets for enterprises to accelerate the adoption of Web3 technologies across traditional businesses.

Developers will benefit from Tencent Cloud’s infrastructure, with rapid node deployment and efficient support for validators across APAC. With this combination, developers can build with confidence, knowing users will experience near-instant transaction finality, which is essential for modern games.

Avalanche’s Subnet technology enables enterprises to develop fully customizable blockchain infrastructure purpose-built for their use case, including network security, access, virtual machine use, fee economics, and more. This feature will benefit game studios requiring dedicated, high-performance infrastructure to support large scale user bases.

The collaboration between Ava Labs and Tencent Cloud opens the door to building truly incredible Web3 gaming experiences. Tencent Cloud is a global powerhouse in both the gaming and infrastructure space, and this partnership will push the boundaries of what is possible.

To support Web3 builders and projects building on Avalanche, Ava Labs and Tencent intend to co-host in-person and online conferences, education programs, developer meetups, and more, starting with a series of events at Tencent Cloud Day in Singapore.

Avalanche is considered to be the fastest, most reliable smart contracts platform globally, with its revolutionary consensus protocol and novel Subnets enabling Web3 developers to launch highly scalable solutions. With Tencent’s support, the Avalanche ecosystem and its builders will continue to redefine the way people build and use open, permissionless networks.

Tencent Cloud also partnered with Ankr, a Web3 infrastructure provider, to jointly develop a suite of blockchain API services that will provide a globally distributed and decentralized network of Remote Procedure Call (RPC) nodes. The API services will be deployed on top of Tencent Cloud’s infrastructure and will offer Web3 games and Web3 social applications reliable and efficient connections to the most popular blockchains. This partnership will allow builders to power their Web3 projects with high-performing infrastructure.

In addition, Tencent Cloud announced strategic collaborations with twoo other Web3 blockchain partners, including Scroll and Sui. Scroll aims to build an open-sourced fully EVM-compatible zk-Rollup with a strong proving network. Tencent Cloud will provide cloud credit support for selected teams of builders in the Scroll community. Sui, a Layer-1 blockchain initially developed by Mysten Labs, will leverage Tencent Cloud’s expertise in cloud solutions for games to provide builders with effective cloud-based game development tools and dedicated support to optimize the on-chain gaming experience. Web3 game developers using Tencent Cloud’s infrastructure can seamlessly run games on the Sui network. Together, these partnerships will help global builders accelerate their adoption of Web3 for the decentralized future.
